Hi, so you're either new to the world of imageboards or just this site, or you may not know alot of how these sites work. This is what i hope this how-to guide would help out in answering all your simple questions and hopefully you'll understand how it works.

Now let's start with the Overchan V.2. Here is the front page, and then a following of a breakdown of the site.

As you can see, the menu is on your left, and the content is on your right. On the menu we have the navigation, and the chans that we have indexed on the site. The right is where you would see the board when you click the link. but when you see our frontpage, you'll see the Site updates and News and other content we have on the site.

Now let's analyze the menu more:

Here's the closeup of it. The left picture is what it would look like when you open the Menu navigation for the overchan. here you can go back to the Ov2's frontpage, or any of the site content, You can switch to a different specialty menu or switch to a different site, which we'll cover later.

The right is what you would see if we click on a chanboard below the Menu navigation. When you click a channame, the previous menu that was open would close, and the one you click on would open. As it's explained, you got the important information from the site above the hr-html tag, and below it is the boards you can go to.

Here's a closeup of the tab "Various" Since some chanboards only have one board to their name, we usually categorized it here. and you can easily find it from the red text.

Now that we have explained how Overchan2 works, let's check out one of the other sites, Filterchan.

This site works the same as Overchan, but let's check out the feature which makes this site unique.

This is the filter used to search for types of boards. When you type in a subject or content you would get results like so:

,

Now remember that this only searches for boards, and not what is on them. Therefore, if you were looking for delicious Konata, for example, you would be better off typing words such as "anime" and "hentai". The Filterchan works best for general words.

Now let's talk about /a/chan, which caters for anime and manga related content. here's a breakdown on their frontpage.

Besides how the frontpage is, the menu is pretty much the exact same and design atheistic as the Overchan2 itself. Since there's not alot to explain at that point, let's just take a closeup of their menu.

I'm sure it's self explanatory in that image.

Now the last site i want to cover for this how-to is The Overbooru, which doesn't work with chanboards, but instead works with Danbooru boards. Although it's not the same technology, some may consider Danbooru technology the "imageboard 2.0".

There's not alot to say anymore because the Overbooru is a very simple site compared to the Overchans. But let's closeup on the menu.

In order to submit a new danbooru board not listed, you can click onto the date under "Last Update" to go to a textboard to post the link.

I hope all your questions were answered and that you are able to navigate and use the sites more easily now. Remember that is there's an error that isn't on your end, you should contact the staff so it can be fixed.
