An addhayoga (or aḍḍayoga) is one of five kinds of lodgings which monks are allowed to live in, the others being vihara, pasada, hammiya, and guha. Addhayoga is a building with a roof sloped to either one side or both, but without any walls. It is shaped like the wings of the garuda.
